Here is the event description from Eventbrite:

"Join us for this panel event hosted by CSP Council Chair Alex MacKenzie, featuring Mary Makinde of Transforming Mindsets, Sudhir Daya founder and director of Integrated Health and Stephanie Nixon founder of the Coin Model of Privilege and Critical Allyship.

Mary Makinde is a Senior Lecturer in Forensic Investigation and Strategic Lead for a UK based University, and the founder of Transforming Mindsets. Mary is highly committed to people and works with organisations within the private and public sector to promote a culture that celebrates diversity and builds a sense of belonging. Mary has helped organisations to make long-lasting transformational changes in leadership, culture and attitudes towards diversity and inclusion.

Sudhir Daya (he/him) is a gay, cisgender, able-bodied male of South Asian heritage who grew up in apartheid South Africa before emigrating to the UK. He founded The Life Architect (a human potential consultancy) and it’s man.I.cure project that explores structural patriarchy. He is a chartered physiotherapist and runs a clinic in London (Integrated Health) and is chair of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy's LGBTQIA+ network and a member of it’s BAME network.

Stephanie Nixon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in Canada. As a white woman, Stephanie has learned about equity and justice from Black, Indigenous and other racialized leaders. Based on these learnings, she developed the Coin Model of Privilege and Critical Allyship as a way to translate core ideas about anti-oppression and anti-racism to people in positions of unearned advantage."

Together they will be engaging you in a conversation on the topic of 'Beyond Allyship - A Conversation for All' sharing their own personal experiences and ways in which we can keep growing and evolving on our individual and collective allyship journeys.

Please note that this event will take place on Zoom. Joining instructions will be sent to you ahead of the event."
